Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield sat out Wednesday's practice as he continues to deal with a trio of injuries.
Mayfield is bothered by injuries to his left shoulder, knee and foot. He insists the injuries aren't a problem despite his performance being down over the past few weeks.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Mayfield will play as long as he is deemed healthy.
"We will always defer to the medical staff and make sure that a guy is ready to go," Stefanski told reporters. "Obviously, you have discussions with the players in that same vein. We won't put guys out there who cannot protect themselves.
"To say that Baker is not battling -- I think you all know that (he is) -- but he's ready to play and ready to help the team win, but we will always have those conversations week to week."
Mayfield was intercepted twice and completed just 51.7 percent of his passes during last Sunday's 13-10 win over the 0-9-1 Detroit Lions. He passed for 176 yards and one touchdown.
Overall, Mayfield was one of six Browns to miss practice. Receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) also sat out.
Cleveland also designated running back Kareem Hunt (calf) and offensive tackle Jack Conklin (elbow) as players to return from injured reserve. It isn't yet clear if either player will be activated to play against Baltimore.
"I'll see how I feel during the week, but I'm definitely feeling like I'm going to play," Hunt said.
Meanwhile, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (illness) was a full participant three days after missing a 16-13 win over the Chicago Bears. Ten Ravens sat out, including defensive end Calais Campbell (concussion) and cornerback Jimmy Smith (neck).
