The Atlanta Braves scratched outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. from their lineup Thursday night against the host Philadelphia Phillies due to mid-back tightness.
Acuna was originally slated to bat leadoff and man right field. Robbie Grossman shifted from left to right field to replace Acuna, and Marcell Ozuna was placed in left. Dansby Swanson moved up one spot in the batting order to leadoff, and designated hitter William Contreras was shifted from sixth to second.
Acuna, 24, is a three-time All-Star who has appeared in 110 games for the Braves this season. He is batting .270 with 13 home runs and 46 RBIs.
