Tauchman increased Chicago's lead to 4-2 with an RBI single to center in the fifth.
Minnesota erased the deficit with two runs in the sixth. Lewis led off the inning with a solo homer to left-center field, and Buxton made it 4-all with a sacrifice fly to left later in the frame.
Lee put the Twins on top 5-4 with an RBI single in the seventh. The lead did not last long for the Twins as Topa gave up a pair of runs in the eighth.
