The Atlanta Falcons officially re-signed wide receiver Drake London to a four-year contract extension Monday.
The team announcement comes nearly one week after the deal was reported by multiple outlets as being worth $141 million. A total of $100 million of the deal is reportedly guaranteed, while the pact could pay as much as $150 million with incentive clauses, according to multiple reports, though the team did not disclose financial information.
London's new deal gives him an average annual value of $35.25 million, the third-highest mark among wide receivers behind only Seattle's Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($42.15 million) and Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase ($40.25 million). Smith-Njigba signed his extension with the Super Bowl champion Seahawks earlier this offseason.
It is also the highest average per-year deal in Falcons history, according to ESPN.
'Drake London represents exactly what we're building here,' Atlanta Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham said in a statement. 'His work ethic, competitive drive, and team-first mind set is refreshing to witness. He's an ascending player who has earned the respect of everyone in this building through the way he prepares and performs.'
The Falcons made London the eighth overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he had an immediate impact as a starter. He led the Falcons in receiving yards in each of his first three seasons before tight end Kyle Pitts beat him by 9 yards in 2025, with London playing five fewer games.
In 62 career games (60 starts), the 24-year-old has 309 receptions for 3,961 yards and 22 touchdowns for Atlanta. His best season was in 2024, when he played all 17 games and finished with career highs of 100 catches, 1,271 yards and nine TDs.
London will play the 2026 season on his fifth-year rookie option, worth $16.82 million. The extension then takes him through the 2030 campaign.
Atlanta enters a new era with Kevin Stefanski as head coach and franchise legend and former quarterback Matt Ryan in a newly created role as president of football. Tua Tagovailoa was brought in to compete with Michael Penix Jr. for the starting quarterback job.
