Malik Monk scored 28 points, Zach LaVine added 23, and the Sacramento Kings snapped a four-game losing streak with a 132-122 win over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
DeMar DeRozan had 22 points and nine assists for Sacramento (34-33), which led by as many as 21 in the fourth quarter and never trailed after moving ahead late in the first quarter.
Keegan Murray added 16 points and 10 rebounds to help the Kings win the season series against Memphis 2-1. Jake LaRavia added 12 points off the bench against his former team.
The Kings withstood a season-high 44-point performance from Desmond Bane, who shot 15-of-25 from the field and 7-of-7 from 3-point range. Brandon Clarke added 15 points, Jaylen Wells scored 14, and Jaren Jackson Jr. and Zach Edey had 12 points apiece.
The short-handed Grizzlies (43-26) played without Ja Morant (left hamstring soreness), Santi Aldama (calf), and Scotty Pippen Jr. (sore left wrist).
Memphis was unable to slow down the Kings, who shot 52.3 percent from the field and 20 of 41 (48.8 percent) from 3-point range.
Sacramento set the tone early and led 37-26 at the end of the first period after closing on a 16-4 run.
The Kings carried the momentum into the second quarter and stretched their lead to 59-44 after Murray converted a three-point play with 2:26 left in the half.
LaVine hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the half and give Sacramento a 65-54 advantage.
Sacramento center Domantas Sabonis headed straight to the locker room after injuring his right ankle early in the third quarter. He did not return.
Bane hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 75-71 with 8:39 left in the third quarter before Sacramento quickly regained a double-digit lead.
The Kings led 98-86 at the end of the third period and extended their lead to 114-94 on LaRavia's 3-pointer with 7:51 left in the game.
