The Ravens have reached a three-year contract extension with Head Coach John Harbaugh through the 2028 season

Harbaugh is one of the NFL's most successful and longest-tenured head coaches, forging the Ravens as one of the league's powerhouses over his 17 seasons.

Only the Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Tomlin (18 seasons) has been with the same team longer among active head coaches. Curly Lambeau (Packers) and Tom Landry (Cowboys) both coached their respective teams for 29 years.

Harbaugh, 62, is just as passionate and driven as ever to lead Baltimore to a third Super Bowl and second in his tenure.

By any measure, Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in NFL history.

He is one of just five coaches in league history to lead his team to the postseason at least 12 times over his first 17 seasons, joining Pete Carroll, Bud Grant, Mike Holmgren, and Mike McCarthy, who all also did it 12 times.

Harbaugh's 13 career playoff wins are tied with Holmgren for the seventh most in NFL history and tied for the fourth most by a head coach in their first 17 seasons. Harbaugh owns the most road playoff wins (eight) by a head coach in NFL history.

The Ravens are back-to-back AFC North champions and will look to become the first team to make it a three-peat in 2025. The Ravens have won six AFC North titles under his leadership. Harbaugh has a career regular-season record of 172-104.

The Ravens have reached four AFC title games under Harbaugh, including in the 2023 season. Baltimore fell to the Bills in a hard-fought game in the Divisional playoff round last season.

The goal is to get back over the hump and into another Super Bowl, and Harbaugh will be the man to lead the way.
