Trade rumors have swirled around Mark Andrews all offseason, but Head Coach John Harbaugh tamped them down Monday morning.
Speaking at NFL owners meetings, Harbaugh said he's been in touch with Andrews some this offseason and "fully" expects Andrews to be a Raven in 2025.
"Mark's in a good place. He's working really hard," Harbaugh said. "I do fully expect him to be playing for us next year. He's just too good a player."
Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Charlie Kolar are all entering the final year of their contracts, leading to speculation about their long-term future in Baltimore. Who will stay and who will ultimately go?
One thing is clear: the Ravens want all three of them again in 2025, believing that they will once again have arguably the best tight end room in the league.
The Ravens paid Andrews' reported $4 million roster bonus on March 17, which was another indication of their intent to keep him.
Andrews and Lamar Jackson came into the league together in 2018 and have developed immeasurable chemistry. Andrews, the Ravens' all-time career leader in receiving touchdowns (51), caught a team-high 11 touchdowns last season.
Andrews posted 673 receiving yards on 55 catches last season, but it finished in disappointment after he had a key fumble and dropped what would've been a game-tying two-point conversion in the fourth quarter in Baltimore's divisional playoff loss in Buffalo.
"We'll see what happens, but my plans are that we've got Mark, we have Isaiah, we have Charlie, we have Pat Ricard all in place doing all those jobs," Harbaugh said.
