The calendar has officially turned to April, meaning all eyes are set on Green Bay, Wis., and the 2025 NFL Draft. Over the next few weeks, we will take a look at some expert breakdowns of the top prospects entering this year's draft, position by position:
RB|LB|WR| DB | IOL | DT | QB | OT | EDGE | TE
Let's continue with the wide receivers.
*Note: Colorado's Travis Hunter is listed as both CB and WR, and he will be featured in the defensive backs primer Tuesday.*

McMillan led all true freshmen with 702 receiving yards in 2022 then followed it up with Third-team Associated Press All-American and Second-team All-Big 12 nominations as a sophomore. He ranked third in the FBS with 1,319 receiving yards in 2024 and was a First-team Associated Press All-American and First-team All-Big 12.
Pro Football Focus: No. 3 overall (No. 1 WR)"McMillan has All-Pro potential because of his length, athleticism and football intelligence. He's a smooth criminal of a receiver who was the focal point of Arizona's offense. He is a unique talent who deserves to be considered in the top 10 of the 2025 NFL Draft."
NFL.com (Daniel Jeremiah Top 50): No. 18 overall (No. 3 WR)
"Possession receiver with the size and ball skills to create big wins deep. He's a linear route-runner who wears press coverage early and coasts too often on deep routes, but he has a feel for uncovering underneath and can play over the top of cornerbacks for easier jump-ball wins. McMillan is instinctive with a feel for adjusting his routes and working back on throws to make the quarterback's job easier."
ESPN: No. 15 overall (No. 1 WR)
"McMillan uses his hands and release package to get off press coverage. He snaps his head around and separates with strength at the top of routes. He doesn't explode out of breaks, but he can sink his hips, plant and change directions on sharp breaking routes. McMillan finds windows and works back to the ball against zone looks."

Golden led Houston with six receiving touchdowns in 2023 before transferring to Texas in 2024 and leading the Longhorns with 987 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns.
Pro Football Focus: No. 22 overall (No. 4 WR)"Golden is a talented player whose movement skills should translate well to the NFL. His advanced avenues of success -- whether through beating press, impressive footwork, after-the-catch ability or kick-return prowess -- make him a player who could be a high-end WR2 in the league."
NFL.com (Daniel Jeremiah Top 50): No. 16 overall (No. 1 WR)
"Golden works all three levels of the field with similar consistency and productivity Golden has the ability to play all three receiver spots. He also has the agility and body control to turn near-misses into highlight catches Golden's starting-level traits and big leap forward as a go-to playmaker have him primed to become a productive catch-maker with the potential to develop into a WR1 in the future."
ESPN: No. 25 overall (No. 2 WR)
"Golden is an effective route runner who wins with his release, explodes off the line and gets out of breaks. He plucks the ball, makes the first defender miss and explodes upfield after the catch. Golden is one of two players to run a sub-4.3 40-yard dash at the combine; that speed shows up on tape when he gives his quarterback room to drop the ball in running vertical routes."

Egbuka ranked ninth in the country with 1,151 receiving yards as a true sophomore in 2022 and was Second-team All-Big Ten. He was named Third-team All-Big Team in 2023 and 2024 and led the Buckeyes with 81 receptions in 2024. He set the school record for 205 career receptions.
Pro Football Focus: No. 19 overall (No. 3 WR)
"There seems to be some draft fatigue with Egbuka, who has been talked about as an NFL prospect for three years. Don't fall for it. He's a high-floor, versatile and savvy receiver as a borderline WR1/WR2."
NFL.com (Daniel Jeremiah Top 50): No. 17 overall (No. 2 WR)
"Fluid athlete with good size and quality ball skills who works primarily from the slot. Egbuka runs his routes with tempo and pace. He does a nice job of influencing coverage when needed Egbuka's baseball background shows up with his laser-focused ball-tracking and ability to make sudden adjustments to bring throws in for a safe landing Egbuka projects as an early starter at slot for teams running heavy amounts of three-wideout sets."
ESPN: No. 34 overall (No. 4 WR)
"Egbuka excels at beating zone looks. He squares up and gives the quarterback a big target when settling into underneath windows. The way he flattens out getting out of breaks makes it tough for defensive backs to jump his routes. Egbuka catches the ball in stride and gets north-south."
Height - 6'0"
Weight - 206 lbs

Burden III ranked ninth in the FBS with 1,212 receiving yards in 2023 and was Second-team Associated Press All-American and First-team All-SEC. In 2024, he led Missouri with 61 receptions and was First-team All-SEC.
Pro Football Focus: No. 14 overall (No. 2 WR)
"Burden is an ideal "five-tool," multi-sport athlete for the receiver position in the NFL. The first-round talent is as well-rounded as they come, displaying the ability to succeed at any receiver spot in any offense."
NFL.com (Daniel Jeremiah Top 50): No. 33 overall (No. 4 WR)
"Burden is a natural on the field with above-average speed and exciting ball skills to win at a high rate Missouri exploited Burden's yards-after-catch talent with a barrage of short throws, but NFL teams are much more likely to diversify his usage, activating his complete skill set and big-play potential Burden checks several priority boxes that typically foreshadow an impressive NFL career."
ESPN: No. 47 overall (No. 6 WR)
"Burden is outstanding after the catch and is an instinctive open field runner with the foot speed to make multiple defenders miss. He explodes upfield and pulls away when he gets a seam. He averaged 12.8 yards per carry in 2024. He tracks the deep ball well and is a threat to take the top off the coverage."
Height - 6'4"
Weight - 214 lbs
Arm - 33 "

Higgins led Iowa State with 983 receiving yards in 2023 after spending two years at Eastern Kentucky. He was named second-team All-Big 12 and Third-team Associated Press All-American in 2024 and ranked 10th in the country with 87 receptions.
Pro Football Focus: No. 49 overall (No. 7 WR)
"Higgins is a reliable possession receiver who can run a diverse route tree from any alignment thanks to impressive foot quickness. He won't be an athletic standout in the NFL, but he'll often be in the right place at the right time."
NFL.com: Not Ranked
"Big inside/outside wideout with modest athletic attributes but outstanding ball skills that make him a projectable NFL prospect.... He's smooth but physical in his routes and does a nice job of creating pockets of separation with force and strength. He has mismatch qualities from the slot with body control and a catch radius that make him a menace on jump balls downfield."
ESPN: No. 32 overall (No. 3 WR)
"Higgins caught 140 passes for 2,166 yards and 15 touchdowns in his two seasons at Iowa State and had an outstanding workout at the combine. He is an effective hand fighter with enough foot speed to beat press coverage. He explodes off the line and sticks his foot in the ground at the top of routes. Higgins creates late separation with his hands and provides the quarterback with a big target, settling in windows against zone looks."
Height - 6'2"
Weight - 205 lbs
Arm - 31 "
Hand - 9 "
Harris spent three seasons at Louisiana Tech and was named First-team All-Conference USA in 2022. He transferred to Mississippi and led the Rebels with 985 receiving yards in 2023. He was named Second-team Associated Press All-American and Third-team All-SEC in 2024, leading the team with 60 receptions and 1,030 yards.
Pro Football Focus: No. 81 overall (No. 9 WR)"Harris projects as an alluring WR3 type for an offense that likes to push the ball down the field. His route tree and separation rates leave something to be desired, but he can keep a defense honest with his field-stretching ability."
NFL.com: Not Ranked
"Size/speed wideout who returned to school in 2024 and improved his game heading into this year's draft. He's primarily a first- and third-level target, mixing a barrage of hitches and slants with go routes and posts. He's fast enough to win over the top and talented with the ball in his hands to stretch short throws into longer yardage He looks locked in as an "X" receiver with big-game potential and a future home as a WR2."
ESPN: No. 45 overall (No. 5 WR)
"He's productive after the catch, making the first defender miss after quickly reaching his top speed. He runs hard and has the contact balance to break tackles. He can shake press coverage with release. Harris' timed speed is average, but he runs well on tape, tracks the deep ball well and makes contested catches downfield."
