Tre'Davious White Returns to Buffalo

Tre'Davious White is returning to the team that drafted him, reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Ravens acquired White from the Rams ahead of the trade deadline and he played a rotational role down the stretch.

April 11

Josh Johnson Signs in Washington

Josh Johnson isn't going far as the backup quarterback reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders, according to Ben Standig of The Athletic.

Johnson was the backup for Lamar Jackson last season but didn't see much action as Jackson started all 17 games. The Ravens signed Cooper Rush to a two-year deal this offseason to be the new backup in Baltimore.

Linebacker Kristian Welch Signs With Packers

Linebacker Kristian Welch is heading back to Green Bay after signing with the Packers.

Welch spent the early part of last season with the Packers before joining the Denver Broncos and eventually the Ravens. He played a key special teams role while sprinkling in some defensive snaps.

Steven Sims Signs With Seahawks

Former Ravens wide receiver/returner Steven Sims has signed with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Ravens added Sims late last season after he was released by the Houston Texans. Sims played in four games with the Ravens, returning seven kicks, including a 16-yard return in the divisional round. He added one rush for 15 yards in the postseason.

Ravens Agree to Deal With Cooper Rush

The Ravens are reportedly bringing in a new quarterback to backup Lamar Jackson.

Cooper Rush, who has been with the Dallas Cowboys for most of the last eight seasons, has agreed to a deal with Baltimore, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Rush reportedly agreed to a two-year, $6.2 million deal that is incentive laden,per The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec.

The 31-year-old Rush has extensive NFL experience, having appeared in 38 games with 14 starts since he joined the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie in 2017. For his career, Rush has completed 330 of 554 passes (60.7%) for 3,463 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

Tylan Wallace Returns on One-Year Deal

The Ravens have brought back wide receiver Tylan Wallace on a one-year deal,per The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. The one-year deal is worth $2.25 million, perFOX Sports insider Jordan Schultz.

A Ravens fourth-round pick in 2021, Wallace had his best season last year, proving himself as a dependable wide receiver and special teams standout. He'll continue to be a depth piece in a wide receiver room led by Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and now reportedly DeAndre Hopkins.

Special Teams Ace Comes to Baltimore

The Ravens have agreed to terms with veteran linebacker and special teams standout Jake Hummel on a one-year deal, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.

Hummel had eight special teams tackles for the Los Angeles Rams in 2024 and blocked a punt that led to a touchdown.

The 26-year-old Hummel, who played in every game for Los Angeles last season, spent three years with the Rams after being undrafted in 2022 out of Iowa State and making their 53-man roster.

Michael Pierce Announces His Retirement

Ravens defensive lineman Michael Pierce has announced his retirement after nine seasons.

An undrafted free agent in 2016, Pierce became one of the game's best nose tackles, known for his run-stopping prowess. He played seven of his nine years in Baltimore, where it all started.

"After nine seasons, after much prayer, talking to my family, just going through the grind, man, and just being satisfied with there I am, looking forward to doing other things in life, I just decided to call it a career,"Pierce said on Sports Spectrums podcast. "It's been a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful nine years."

Ravens Agree to Deal With DeAndre Hopkins

The Ravens have reportedly made a significant addition to their wide receiver room by reaching agreement with DeAndre Hopkins on a one-year contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hopkins is a five-time Pro Bowler with career totals of 984 catches, 12,965 yards and 83 touchdowns during his 12 NFL seasons. He will turn 33 years old in June.

Hopkins posted his seventh 1,000-yard season in 2023 with the Tennessee Titans.

Arthur Maulet to Be Released

The Ravens reportedly plan to release nickel cornerback Arthur Maulet, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.

Maulet re-signed with the Ravens last offseason on a two-year deal, but he struggled to stay healthy in 2024, playing just three games.

Maulet, now 31, had a strong 2023 in Baltimore, playing 14 games with five pass breakups, two sacks, and 37 tackles. The move will create around $2.2 million in cap space, according to Over the Cap.

With cornerback Brandon Stephens reportedly signing a three-year deal with the New York Jets, the Ravens will have some spots to fill in the secondary.

Ravens Retain Fullback Patrick Ricard

The Ravens are keeping their offensive sledgehammer, as Pro Bowl fullback Patrick Ricard has agreed to terms to stay in Baltimore.

It's a fully guaranteed, one-year deal for the five-time Pro Bowler,per The Athletics Diana Russini. According to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec, the deal will be in the $2.9 million range with a $1.44 million cap hit.

A deal between the two sides seemed inevitable after Ricard said after the season that hewanted to retire a Ravenand General Manager Eric DeCosta concurred.

The fullback market changed when news broke that fellow Pro Bowler and former Raven Kyle Juszczyk was set to be released by the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens and Ricard struck a deal not long after.

Ricard has been a key spearhead in the Ravens' run game and pass protection during his eight years in Baltimore and still found a home in Todd Monken's offense the past two seasons.

Derrick Henry, who ran for nearly 2,000 yards last season, made it clear on multiple occasions last season how much he loved having the 300-pound fullback clearing the way in front of him.

March 10

Reserve Offensive Tackle Is Off to Seattle

The Ravens will still be in the offensive tackle market even after re-signing Ronnie Stanley, as reserve Josh Jones is expected to sign with the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year deal,per NFL Networks Ian Rapoport.

Jones played in 16 games in his first year in Baltimore. He didn't make any starts and saw 46 total offensive snaps, as the Ravens' tackles remained healthy throughout the year.

Though Baltimore has its starters returning in Stanley and rising second-year player Roger Rosengarten, the Ravens will need to fill out their offensive tackle depth with Patrick Mekari also set to depart for Jacksonville.

Another Ravens Inside Linebacker Departing

Chris Board is headed to the New York Giants on a two-year deal, according toNFL Networks Tom Pelissero, marking the second inside linebacker slated to depart Baltimore this offseason. Malik Harrison is set to go to Pittsburgh.

Board played in all 17 games last season and took on a bigger defensive role down the stretch, finishing with 30 tackles, one sack, and 15% of the defensive snaps. He was also one of Baltimore's top special teams players.

Board got his NFL start in Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He spent his first four seasons as a Raven before going to Detroit, then New England, then back to Baltimore. Now he'll be back in blue with the Giants and the Ravens will be looking for inside linebacker depth to pair with Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson.

Malik Harrison to Join Steelers

Malik Harrison has agreed to a two-year, $10 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The veteran linebacker thrived late in the 2024 season for the Ravens when his playing time increased. Starting in place of injured Roquan Smith in Week 12, Harrison had a career-high 13 tackles in a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. He had seven tackles during the playoff loss at Buffalo and finished the season with a career-high 54 tackles.

A third-round draft pick in 2020, Harrison has spent his entire five-year career with the Ravens. He has been a consistent contributor on special teams and a physical member of Baltimore's linebacker rotation playing both outside and inside.

Harrison will join his former teammate Patrick Queen in Pittsburgh as the latest player to switch sides in the Ravens-Steelers rivalry.

Brandon Stephens Gets Strong Deal From Jets

Brandon Stephens has agreed to a three-year, $36 million deal with the New York Jets, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

A third-round pick of the Ravens' in 2021, Stephens was a full-time starting cornerback the past two seasons in Baltimore. Though he was one of the NFL's highest-targeted cornerbacks, Stephens was often sticky in coverage and a strong tackler. According to Pro Football Focus, Stephens allowed 65 receptions for 806 yards last season, which ranked as the fifth and second-most in the league, respectively.

Baltimore has Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins as next year's projected starters. After drafting Wiggins in the first round last year, the Ravens will likely be in the cornerback market again in this year's draft. The Jets have reportedly lost cornerback D.J. Reed to the Detroit Lions in free agency.

Patrick Mekari Headed to Jacksonville

Versatile offensive lineman Patrick Mekari is headed to Jacksonville on a reported three-year, $37 million deal, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Undrafted in 2019, Mekari has spent the past six seasons in Baltimore. He played in 88 games and started 53, including at every spot along the offensive line. Mekari started all 17 games last season.

Mekari, 27, was a valuable and gritty blocker in Baltimore, and the Ravens will now be looking for his replacement at left guard. Andrew Vorhees, who won the left guard job out of training camp last season, is a top candidate.
