The Ravens return every outside linebacker from last season, but key players like Odafe Oweh, Kyle Van Noy, and David Ojabo are set to hit free agency next offseason.
Baltimore could add long-term talent to its edge unit this offseason, and some mock drafts have the Ravens using pick No. 27 on an exterior pass rusher.
Here are edge rushers in each round that could make sense for the Ravens:
Ezeiruaku has the production of a first round pick after registering 16.5 sacks last season and 30 in his college career.
The 6-foot-3, 248-pound pass rusher has frequently been mocked to Baltimore, and he could help bolster the pass rush room right away while solving a long-term need.According to The Athletics Dane Brugler, "rushing the passer is his calling card," but "his tape says he is more than a designated pass rusher."
Ezeiruaku played with Ravens Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers at Boston College, and hespoke with Flowersabout the draft process before the Combine.
Tuimoloau led the Big 10 with 12.5 sacks and topped his stellar college career with a national championship.
The former top-5 recruit tallied 23.5 sacks and 45 tackles for loss in 55 college games, but he saved his best for last. Across four College Football Playoff contests in 2024, the 6-4, 264-pound Tuimoloau had 20 pressures, 10 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
"Tuimoloau's college tape is more good than exceptional, but he is competitive, skilled and doesn't have major deficiencies that would keep him from being a dependable edge presence in the NFL," Brugler wrote. "He is one of the most well-rounded defensive prospects in the class."
Gillotte was a second-team All-American as a junior when he posted 11 sacks, but he only had 4.5 as a senior. However, he had similar pressure numbers in 2024 (65) and 2023 (66).
Gillotte's college experience (50 games, 42 starts) could help him make an immediate impact as both a pass rusher and run stopper.
Ingram-Dawkins has some inside/outside versatility and comes from a strong program known for its defense. Through four seasons, he didn't have a lot of production (only four sacks across 37 games), but he stepped into a bigger role as a senior and played well.
Ingram-Dawkins has the size (6-5, 276 pounds) and speed (4.86 40-yard dash) to project as an NFL player, and playing in the SEC will only help his transition to the league.
Walker has been mocked to the Ravens in numerous seven-round mock drafts, and he is an intriguing prospect coming from a small school. With 39 career sacks, he's one of the most productive players in this edge rusher class, and he never had a college season with fewer than eight sacks.
The three-time All-American will be 25 as a rookie is undersized at 6-1, but his college production is hard to ignore, even if it came in the FCS.
Robinson spent five years at Alabama and played 43 games across his career, finishing with 5.5 total sacks, but four of those came in 2024. While his production doesn't jump off the page, he was a core special teams player and finished with 15 career special teams tackles.
"Robinson is a traits-based, tweener prospect with potential as an edge setter, although his lack of development is going to stick out like a sore thumb next to NFL players in training camp," Brugler wrote. "His saving grace is his coverage talent on special teams, which might keep him on a roster as he grows as a defender."
Chambliss led the Georgia defense with 6.5 sacks last season but is projected to be a late Day 3 pick or undrafted free agent. Chambliss played 55 games (25 starts) and bounced between inside and outside linebacker in college.
Chambliss projects as a special teams standout after he played 689 career special teams snaps at Georgia.
