We continue with the defensive line.

It hasn't been widely identified by analysts as a position of need for the Rams, but here's why they may consider targeting it in the draft

If you saw how this year's Super Bowl unfolded, you can never have enough players who can affect the quarterback. And while the Rams have an ascending young foundation of defensive linemen, that hasn't stopped them from adding to the position during general manager Les Snead's tenure.

Going into the 2014 draft, they had 2011 first-round pick Robert Quinn, 2012 first-round pick Michael Brockers and six-year veteran Chris Long, and they still took Aaron Donald 13th overall that year.

Los Angeles did address one of their departures (Bobby Brown III) by signing veteran Poona Ford in free agency. They also re-signed Larrell Murchison.

Tyler Davis, Braden Fiske, Desjuan Johnson, Larrell Murchison, David Olajiga, Kobie Turner, Poona Ford, and Jack Heflin.

Projected names

The Athletic's Dane Brugler plugged Boston College defensive tackle Cam Horsley to the Rams at 195th overall in the sixth roundin his full seven-round mock.

NFL.com's Chad Reuter also had the Rams taking Horsley in the sixth round, but six spots later,in his full seven-round mock.
