The Jaguars Select DB Caleb Ransaw No. 88 Overall

Caleb Ransaw, a cornerback from Tulane University, on Friday night was selected by the Jaguars No. 88 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft the 24th selection of Round 3.

The selection of Ransaw came after the Jaguars executed a trade earlier in Round 3: The Nos. 70 (Round 3) and 182 (Round 4) selections in the '25 draft and a 2026 sixth-round selection to Detroit Lions for the No.102 (Round 3) selection in '25, a "compensation" third-round selection in '26 and a "regular" '26 third-round selection.

Ransaw (5-feet-11, 197 pounds), who played three seasons at Troy, was a third-team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2024.

The Jaguars on Thursday selected Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter No. 2 overall (Round 1). They did not have a second-round selection, having traded that to the Cleveland Browns as part of a deal to move up to No. 2 from No. 5 overall to select Hunter.
