The Rams selected Auburn running backJarquez Hunterwith the 117th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Here's what you should know about him:

One of the most explosive RBs in the FBS in 2024

Among FBS running backs with 150 or more carries last year, Hunter posted the second-highest explosive rush rate (gains of 10 or more yards).

278 rushing yards versus Kentucky in 2024 was fourth-most in a single game in Auburn history

Hunter had a historic program performance against Kentucky on Oct. 24, 2024, rushing for 278 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.

It also marked a career-high for him.

Production increased every year at Auburn

From his 2021 true freshman season to his 2024 senior season, Hunter increased his rushing attempts and rushing yards. He also increased his rushing touchdowns nearly every year: He had three in 2021, seven each in 2022 and 2023, then eight in 2024.
