EAGAN, Minn. The Vikings famously benefited from a double doink in the NFL's International Series in 2022.
Now, they're heading toward a double dip during the 2025 regular season.
The NFL Network's Good Morning Football on Tuesday announced the Minnesota Vikings will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the league's first regular-season game ever hosted by Ireland.
"Playing in Ireland's first-ever NFL game is an opportunity to introduce new fans to the Minnesota Vikings and help the league continue to make the game of football more accessible globally," said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. "To do so against a storied franchise like the Pittsburgh Steelers adds a unique challenge that makes this even more special. We are honored to be selected for this historic game and will be anxious to see what promises to be an electric game day environment in Croke Park."
Minnesota will follow that Week 4 appearance at Croke Park in Dublin by skipping across the Irish Sea Muir ireann to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 5 at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
"Our experiences in London have always been memorable, so to return in 2025 as the first team to play in back-to-back international games in different countries was something we could not pass up," Wilf said. "UK fans have a history of showing up and embracing the Minnesota Vikings, creating what often feels like a homefield environment, and we are hopeful that is what we see again in 2025."
Minnesota's historic participation is part of a league-record slate involving seven games and five host countries.

The Steelers and Browns were due to welcome the Vikings to Pittsburgh and Cleveland, respectively, as part of the NFL's schedule rotation.
Instead, it will be an opportunity for the Vikings to defend their undefeated record on international soil not once but twice within a season.
Minnesota is 4-0 in exhibition contests dating back to 1983 and 4-0 in regular-season skirmishes, a run that interestingly began in 2013 when the Vikings defeated the Steelers in London.
The Vikings topped the Browns there four years later in 2017 on the way to winning the NFC North.
Five years later, Minnesota outlasted a comeback attempt by New Orleans when a 61-yard field goal attempt to try to force overtime hit the left upright and crossbar but fell shy of going through on the game's final play.
This will be the first time the Vikings have visited London in consecutive seasons. Minnesota intercepted longtime nemesis Aaron Rodgers three times, including one Andrew Van Ginkel returned 63 yards for a touchdown, to prevail 23-17 against the New York Jets last season.
Minnesota's full 2025 schedule will be announced at 7 p.m. (CT) May 14.
Entering 2025, there have been 55 regular-season international games in league history, including 39 in London, six in Toronto, five in Mexico City, four in Germany and the 2024 opener in Brazil.
At the conclusion of the double dip, the Vikings will have played six international games, which ranks fourth among all NFL teams behind the Jaguars and Dolphins (14 and 8, respectively, including 2025) and Bills (6 of 8 were held in Toronto).
Croke Park is the principal national stadium of Ireland and serves as headquarters for the Gaelic Athletic Association. It has a capacity of 82,300 (69,100 seats).
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium opened in April 2019 and hosted its first NFL game that season. The venue has hosted 10 NFL games entering 2025.
