Marco Hernandez: Dear Drew, With the schedule out, what games will be with the alternate uniforms? The "H" town and Battle Red uniforms?

DD: Hi Marco, the H-Town Inspired uniforms will be worn on October 26 at NRG Stadium against the 49ers. That's the "Reppin' H-Town presented by Bud Light" contest. The Battle Red unis are Thursday, November 20 here against the Bills. That's the "Battle Red Game presented by Mattress Firm".

Greg Williams: Dear Drew, Who do you believe will be the running back behind Joe Mixon in the rotation?

DD: Tough to say, but the competition should be pretty spirited. Dameon Pierce enters his fourth season, and had the most carries and yards on the team in 2024 aside from the Pro Bowler Mixon. It's hard to forget the promise he showed as a rookie, and we've seen flashes of that in each of the least two years. Dare Ogunbowale is also back, and came up with some huge moments for Houston last season. The team drafted Woody Marks in the fourth round, and he brings an intriguing skillset to the mix as well. Over five seasons in college, he caught a lot of passes out of the backfield, and proved to be a valuable weapon in that aspect. That trio, along with J.J. Taylor and Jawhar Jordan will vie for spots on the roster too.

Jamal Morris: Dear Drew, When are the tickets going to be ready to come see training camp?

DD: No date has been set yet, but that typically occurs in mid-to-late June. Keep your eyes on all the Houston Texans social channels, as well as the mobile app and the website for more information.

Bacari Walker: Dear Drew, Behind Nico Collins, who will likely be the most-targeted wide receiver this year?

DD: Christian Kirk is the most-likely answer. In the first six seasons of his career, he averaged 799.5 receiving yards per season. Last year he was injured in his eighth game, and finished with 379 yards. But he was productive before that and should be a tantalizing complement to the Pro Bowler Collins.

But don't sleep on veterans like John Metchie, III, Xavier Hutchinson and Justin Watson, or the rookie draftees from Iowa State in Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel.
