After his best season, wide receiver Rashod Bateman has a new deal.
Bateman has signed a contract extension, the team announced Thursday, after reaching career highs in receiving yards (756) and touchdown catches (nine) in 2024.
"Rashod made a big jump last year and we are excited to watch him this season," General Manager Eric DeCosta said. "He's a young playmaker who is an important piece of our offense. Congratulations to Rashod and his family!"
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Bateman's three-year extension is worth $36.75 million, with $20 million guaranteed.
The 25-year-old Bateman was a consistent big-play weapon in Baltimore's top-ranked offense, averaging 16.8 yards on 45 catches. His career has blossomed after he was hampered by injuries his first two years. The former 2021 first-round pick played every game in 2024 and logged a career-high 766 snaps.
Bateman will be part of a talented Baltimore wide receiver room in 2025 that also features Zay Flowers, coming off a Pro Bowl year, and five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins, who was signed in March.
