The bloodlines are hard to ignore: Myles Hinton's father (Chris) was a seven-time Pro Bowl player after becoming the No. 4 overall draft pick by Denver in 1993, his brother (Chris) played along the defensive line at Michigan and is now with the Chargers, and his mother (Mya) was a basketball player at Northwestern. Myles Hinton, taken in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Eagles, is here to make his own name, as he discusses in this 3 Questions With
Hinton:"I talked to somebody from another team and he said something that stuck with me: Have two big eyes, two big ears, and one small mouth, so I'm coming in here knowing that I have a lot to learn from the very best offensive line room in the business. This is an amazing opportunity for me and my goal is to grow every day and see where that takes me."
Hinton:"This is my job now. Before, in college, it is a job for sure, but you also have school going on and so there are a lot of balances you have to have. Here, this is the job. This is your profession and you have to be completely focused on this singular thing.
Hinton:"It has definitely had an influence. I'm proud of my dad. I've really enjoyed being his son. Seeing stuff about him being great makes me want to be great as well. It is really inspiring and he has encouraged me to do my best. That's all anybody can ask: Be as prepared as you can be and do the best job you can do. The coach here, Jeff Stoutland, is the same way. He has his reputation and it is well-deserved. I'm watching film of this offensive line and they are moving people off the ball at a fast rate of speed. It's pretty amazing to watch. I want to be part of that. I want to be part of that five (starters). I'm here around the best of the best in every way and that is an incredible thing. You come to work and you're going to be pushed and you're going to push yourself and there is no telling where this is going to take me. I could not have landed in a better place."
