Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens made 11 draft picks, adding instant impact players and depth at a number of key spots.
Here's how the 2025 depth chart shapes up at this point, with perhaps a couple more free agency additions still on the horizon:
Starter:Lamar Jackson
Backup:Cooper Rush
Competing:Devin Leary
The Ravens considered drafting another developmental backup quarterback on Day 3, but he got picked. Baltimore is in good shape with Rush signed this offseason to be Jackson's high-level backup to Jackson and Leary having another chance to try to earn a roster spot.
The Ravens talked a few times about how they could dive into the talent-rich running back draft pool, but they never made the plunge. Baltimore already had plenty of star power with Henry leading the way and Hill and Mitchell backing him up. Ali will again battle for a role.
There was a lot of buzz about the possibility of trading Andrews, but his value in the Ravens' eyes exceeded any offer from another team. He'll be back, along with Likely and Kolar, to give the Ravens arguably the strongest tight end trio in the league. Ricard was re-signed and will continue to be a key part of the Ravens' physicality in the blocking game.
The Ravens have one of the most talented starting young duos in the league with Flowers and Bateman, and they added another proven ball winner in the veteran Hopkins to make a fearsome trio. The re-signed Wallace was highly efficient in his backup role last season and Walker will look to carve out a bigger role in Year 2. Wester was drafted in the sixth round to primarily be the team's punt returner, but he was a high-volume receiver in college who could contribute offensively as a backup.
The Ravens beefed up their offensive line depth with three selections in this year's draft. While Vorhees, who won the starting job out of training camp last year, is still likely the favorite to replace Patrick Mekari as the starting left guard, Jones could push him for the job and ultimately take it over at some point. Vinson is more of a developmental tackle and Dellinger provides more guard depth.
DeCosta was clear that he still wants to add a big-bodied run-stuffer on the defensive line following Michael Pierce's retirement. The Ravens feel like they got excellent value with Peebles, but he's more of an undersized gap penetrator who could have a sub-package pass rushing role as a rookie. The Ravens already have their clear starting veterans but still need more depth.
Simpson is still in line to get another shot to be the starter next to Roquan Smith, but Buchanan could push Simpson for a split of the duties. The Ravens lost Malik Harrison and Chris Board in free agency, so Hummel could also carve out a role in addition to special teams.
The Ravens didn't lose anybody from last year's squad and added a dynamic second-round pick in Green. Green led the nation with 17 sacks last season in college. If he carries that knack for getting to the quarterback into the NFL and proves he can be a strong run stopper, Green could carve out a substantial role early on.
The Ravens added a couple sixth-round picks in Kone and Longerbeam, who are still traits-y prospects that bring more depth. Kone is a longer more traditional boundary cornerback while Longerbeam is shorter and very fleet-footed. The Ravens always say you can't have enough cornerbacks, but they already have seven with a strong chance to make the team.
As a do-it-all defensive back, Starks should have a significant role immediately. However, Washington finished last year as the starter and played well, and he also projects as a major contributor, whether at safety or slot.
