The Giants have entered the second-to-last week of the offseason program. They will practice every day this week except Wednesday and conclude spring ball with minicamp next week before dispersing until training camp in late July.
Here is everything you need to know from OTA No. 7:
The Giants spent much of the day in the red zone, which led to a flurry of touchdowns at the start 7-on-7 drills. Russell Wilson completed his first four passes, all of which found the end zone as he targeted three different position groups. Wilson zipped touchdowns to running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., tight end Theo Johnson, and wide receivers Jalin Hyatt and Darius Slayton.
"There's a lot of things I still want to accomplish," Wilson said last week. "And so every day, I'm just constantly focused on that part of it. I think that, for me, every time I step between the white lines, I want to be my best every day and understand that you're just constantly growing. There is constantly things to learn and everything else."
In the same 7-on-7 period, rookie Jaxson Dart connected with running back Eric Gray for a score, and Tommy DeVito threw touchdowns to tight ends Greg Dulcich and Jermaine Terry II.
Moving on to 11-on-11, also from the red zone, Gray found the end zone again on a screen from Jameis Winston. Winston, a former No. 1 overall pick, also connected twice with Montrell Washington for touchdowns, first on the right side of the end zone and then again on a similar play to the left. Wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey got in on the action with a touchdown from Winston.
Dart threw three more touchdowns during team red zone periods to Slayton, Juice Wells Jr., and Jordan Bly.
Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen's emphasis on takeaways once again led to on-field results. Today it was cornerback Cor'Dale Flott, who jumped in front of a pass in the end zone for an interception.
"We've got to find ways to get the ball," Bowen said last week. "And, again, you get what you emphasize. We're making it a priority this year to make sure we find ways to get the ball."
Late in practice, the offense worked with its back on the goal line. It resulted in two big plays, first a catch-and-run by Wan'Dale Robinson. The wide receiver tipped a ball from Wilson to himself, secured it in stride, and ran to daylight down the right side for what might have been a touchdown.
Similarly, undrafted rookie receiver Dalen Cambre made a nice sideline catch on a ball from DeVito and ran down the field with the rest of his offensive teammates coming behind him to celebrate. The offense was already animated after a long Winston run right before that play.
Defensive linemen Roy Robertson-Harris and Rakeem Nuez-Roches combined for a would-be sack.
Linebacker Micah McFadden likely would have gotten to the quarterback on Dart's touchdown to Slayton. Brian Burns also made his way into the backfield a few times.
