Greg Dortch Signs His Tender Offer To Return To Cardinals

Wide receiver heading into his fifth season with team

With the Cardinals readying to begin their offseason program, Greg Dortch is officially back with the team.

The veteran wide receiver signed on Friday the restricted free agent tender offer the franchiseextended to himback in March, leading him into his fifth season with the team. The contract is a one-year deal worth $3.3 million, although it is not guaranteed.

Friday had been the deadline for restricted free agents to sign an offer sheet with another team. Had he done so, the Cardinals would have had the right to match since they tendered Dortch an offer.

Dortch had 37 receptions for 342 yards and three touchdowns last season playing all 17 games. After appearing in only five games in 2021, Dortch has missed just two games the past three seasons and has averaged 38 catches for 363 yards in that time.

Wide receiver is a position that could see an addition through the draft, although whether the Cardinals would spend a pick in the first round or two seems unlikely.

The depth chart remains for now similar to where it was at the end of the season. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson are at the top, with Dortch and Zay Jones the next options. They also signed veteran Quez Watkins, a former Eagle.
